This hydraulic press has a pressing force of 18 tons and is designed for baling (compaction):
After pressing, finished bales are tied with polypropylene tape (for example this one), wire or any materials at hand. The recommended number of harness belts on this press is 3-4 belts.
When choosing a polypropylene tape for this press, we can recommend the following:
The width of the tape is 16 mm, the thickness is 0.8-1.0 mm, the secondary is gray.
She has a fairly reasonable price, in the region of 450 UAH. for a bay of 3 kilometers and it has good indicators of breaking load.
You can buy it, for example, from these suppliers: https://www.upakovka.com.ua/item/s36/i1
There are also disposable staples, crimping pliers and cutting devices for this tape.
If this is just your first baler of this kind and you are just starting to work in this direction, then for the first month or two work, count on a productivity of 2-3 bales per hour or about 20 bales per work shift (when two balers are working). Later you can reach an average of 4 bales per hour or up to 32 bales per shift.
The best known record for such a vertical press was 6 bales per hour, or about 50 bales for a typical 8-hour shift.
It is possible to install a "Triple" hydraulic distributor on these press.
Thanks to this, in the future it will be possible to install up to three such presses on your site, operating from only one oil station, which will significantly save up to 20% on each purchase, as well as save on electricity and hydraulic maintenance.
