Our company sells electric valves for air and various gases on a regular basis.
Operating voltage is 12 volts (direct current DC).
In the normal (calm) state - Closed.
There are two options for the state of the valves:
Normally Closed - when 12 volts is applied to the valve, it opens and allows air or gas to pass through. When the voltage supply stops, the valve closes and no longer passes anything through itself.
Normally Open - when 12 volts is applied to the valve, it closes and does NOT let air or gas through. When the voltage supply stops, the valve opens and passes air or gas through it.
